Netcad Viewer is a software program for viewing, editing, and working with 2D CAD drawings. It imports AutoCAD files and does not require AutoCAD to be installed on the computer. Netcad Viewer is an application that works on a PC and a Mac. To do this, the app uses a .NET Framework program. If you have a computer running Windows XP or later, you can use Netcad Viewer. To use Netcad Viewer on a Mac, the user needs to have AutoCAD for Mac installed on their computer. This enables them to work with both 2D CAD drawings and 3D CAD models using Autodesk® Inventor® software installed on the computer. Netcad Viewer is a free, lightweight CAD viewer that is compatible with AutoCAD DWG files. It runs on Windows XP or later, and on Mac OS X 10.5 or later. The software offers standard tools for editing drawings including layers, attributes, line weight, hatch patterns, title block information and geometric constraints. Users can also apply color fills to objects. Netcad Viewer offers special tools for creating virtual walkthroughs that are optimized for the web. A feature lets users hide one or more of the virtual camera’s axes to simplify the view of your model for online videos. The software can sized up or down to make it easier to transfer models. It also contains tools for working with 3D models. NetCAD Viewer can be used with a variety of CAD platforms, including AutoCAD, Inventor, PTC Creo Parametric, SolidWorks Manufacture Make and Siemens PLM Simatic. The software commands the computer in the same way as AutoCAD.
